How we compare tools
We compare SEO tools to help you choose the right one for your task without overpaying. This page explains where our data comes from and how the site makes money.
Where the data comes from
Each comparison starts with the tool's official information: pricing page, documentation, feature pages and changelog. Every fact carries the date we checked it.
We check some features ourselves: free tools, public demos and tools where we have an account. The article marks these spots as "checked by us" with a screenshot and a date. Everything else is marked "according to the vendor".
When we call a tool a good fit, we explain why: price, limits or a specific feature.
Prices
We take prices and limits from each tool's pricing page and show the date we checked them. Tools change their plans often, so we recheck prices every 90 days.
Affiliate links
Some links in our articles are affiliate links. If you subscribe through one, the tool pays us a commission. Your price stays the same.
Commissions don't change our conclusions. We recommend a tool without an affiliate program when it fits the task better. Ahrefs, for example, has no affiliate program, and we still include it in comparisons where it belongs. Affiliate links on this site carry the rel="sponsored" attribute.

What we don't do
We don't give stars or scores without a published method, write fake reviews, or post discounts a tool hasn't given us.
Found a mistake?
If a price changed, a feature disappeared or an article gets a fact wrong, message us on Telegram. We'll check it, fix the article and note the date of the correction.
